Holmes Meets 007 (1967)

A parody in which James Bond and ‘M’ pay a visit to Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson. The story was penned by the Book Editor of the San Francisco Examiner, a Sherlock Holmes fan, and originally appeared in the Examiner on 29 November 1964. This small booklet was published a few years later, set in Baskerville type (naturally), and sent “with Compliments Of The Season to the friends of Dean & Shirley Dickensheet and of Vamberry's, Ltd.” An unusual crossover item, and sought after by both Bond and Holmes collectors.
